Slow-travel Log: Kolam Renang Air Sanih, Bali

Kolam Renang Air Sanih

Today we rode for two hours (60+ km) from Amed to Air Sanih. Our butts were sore again, so we decided to relax and visit the local natural swimming pool / holy water spring (Kolam Renang Air Sanih) – and let me tell you, it was awesome!

The entrance fee was pretty cheap at 8k ($0.60) for adults and 5k for kids. The set of pools filled with crystal-clear water was not crowded at all and was right at the ocean where big waves were beating hard against the walls.

We took one, too and almost ended up flushed down from the wall.

Kids were practicing their kung-fu moves or simply playing in the water and we simply enjoyed watching them and laying around. Cherry on the cake: delicious nasi campur in the nearby warung. Another great day!
