Yay! On Friday, we managed to safely ride 150km all the way back from northwestern Bali back to Canggu. Our butts were screaming bloody murder, but it was totally worth it :-).
Should you do the same trip or at least travel towards western Bali, make sure to stop in the little village of Cupel. There’s a stinky fish-canning factory, but more importantly, a harbor with dozens of beautiful and colorful fishing boats. It’s a magnificent view – see for yourself.
While taking a break on the coastal road, we have watched with fascination huge waves breaking far away in the ocean.
